American Frog Day 2021: Mask and COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
After thoughtful consideration and in recognition of continued concerns about the spread of SARS-CoV-2 variants, American Frog Day will now require masks and proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all attendees, vendors and volunteers. (The American Frog Day Planning committee members and guest speakers are all fully vaccinated as well).
As proof of vaccination both of these items must be presented for admission in person when you arrive at the venue:
2. Vaccination record of having received at least a first does prior to October 6th, 2021:
Such as, a CDC vaccination card (or a legible copy of the card on your phone)
or The New York State Excelsior Pass (digital or printed)
or An international vaccination record for a WHO approved vaccine.
*Results from COVID-19 testing will not be accepted. Attendees will not be permitted inside the venue without proof of vaccination.*
This decision was not made lightly; our community’s safety remains top of mind. As such, we have also updated our mask policy: Masks will be required for all attendees, vendors & staff and may not be removed while in the “Show and Sale” venue. During the “Keynote Lecture & Dinner” your mask may only be removed to eat or drink. Children under 12 years of age who cannot yet be vaccinated may attend when accompanied by a fully-vaccinated adult, and they must also wear a mask. Cloth masks are only allowed when worn over a properly fitted disposable surgical mask.
We recognize that this limits access for some attendees, but like many other organizations hosting indoor events, we are taking this temporary measure for 2021 to protect our community and ourselves.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we continue to navigate the ever-changing COVID-19 landscape. We are all trying our best to get to the other side of this ongoing pandemic.
All vaccination records must include:
